Teaching Quantum Computing

I posted on Thursday of Week 1 about my first experience teaching the new modules I am doing this semester, both on the subject of quantum computing.  Now it's Thursday of week 10 and I've just given the last class for the modules.  If nothing else, I've learnt a lot along the way, and judging from what I've seen from mid-semester tests and tutorial sessions, so have most of the students.  I can't deny that is has sometimes been a bit frantic getting the material into shape each week.  As much as I did preparatory work before semester started, there was a large element of seeing how the course was going before realising how it could go and before preparing some of the later material.  Well, it's always a good but intense experience delivering a brand new course, and doing it for the second year is also usually quite intense too.

Today, I had a low turnout from an already small class, but they agreed that we should do a class photo, which could be put online, so here we are:  Me on the left, followed by Robbie, Muhsin, and Lloyd
